This research work examines the Vedic expression “Ya Evam Vēda” - “He who knows thus” to reveal the intrinsic relationship between sound, consciousness, and divine manifestation. Through an analysis of the phonetic and semantic structure of the Vedic Vēdāksharas, it shows how sacred speech (Vēda-vāk) enables the awakening of divine awareness within the human mind. Drawing on sources such as the RigVēda (1.164.39) and Taittirīya Brāhmaṇa (3.10.9.14), the study interprets the mantra “ऋचोअक्षरेपरमेव्योमन्” as expressing the unity of Brahman, divine power, and articulated sound. The akṣara (Vēdākshara) is described as the audible embodiment of transcendental energy, made manifest through mind, effort, and breath. Contemplation of the Vēdākshara, therefore, becomes an act of tapas, a meditative discipline that reveals the divine essence underlying all language and knowledge.
