Vimaan-Shastra by Maharshi Bhardwaj encompasses many secrets of technology and science, that was used in making and functioning of Vimaan. It has provided detailed guidelines for making different types of aircraft/Vimaan; including various yantra (devise), generation, production and use of Vidyut/electricity, metallurgy, chemistry and even duty of a pilot including clothes he should wear and diet he was recommended. In these processes Bhardwaj has mentioned the use of Dravak or Drava i.e. acids both organic and mineral acids, mostly derived from natural sources or synthesized through various processes. There is a mention of different vessels used for storing these acids; which is described in Kriyasara.
