Rare manuscripts of Kamrup Sanskrit Sanjivani Sabha, Assam

Indian knowledge System is originated from Vedic exegesis. Commentaries and sub-commentaries of such treatises are authored by seers. These were memorised traditionally due to non availability of writing tools. Human intellect, later on started writing on stones. In due course of time, several elements came into existence as the materials of writing. In Assam, Sāñcī-pāt prevails in such elements. These are called Manuscripts i.e. hand-written documents. The Kamrup Sanskrit Sanjivani Sabha of Assam is a storehouse of such Manuscripts. There are several rare manuscripts in the repository of the Kamrup Sanskrit Sanjivani Sabha. Some of those Manuscripts are very rare to be had of. The present study aims at highlighting a few rare manuscripts as a domain of new activities for furtherance of research.
