The Tamil month of Mārgaḻi holds a sacred position in Hindu tradition, particularly in South India. This paper explores the intricate connections between Mārgaḻi, Śrī Kṛṣṇa's teachings in the Bhagavad Gītā, and the devotional poetry of Āṇḍāḷ. By examining these elements, we uncover a spiritual trinity that offers profound insights into bhakti (devotion), self-realization, and the attainment of supreme bliss. The study highlights the significance of Mārgaḻi in Kṛṣṇa's own words, Āṇḍāḷ's Tiruppāvai, and the practice of nāma-saṅkīrtana as a means to purify the mind and attain mokṣa (liberation).
